Overview Of ICFET 2026

The Organizing Committee is pleased to invite your participation at 2026 The 12th International Conference on Frontiers of Educational Technologies (ICFET 2026), which is to be held in Tokyo, Japan on June 12-14, 2026.

The knowledge economy has very great demands for high-quality talents, and that enables educating, especially higher education becomes one of the hot questions of the current society. To meet this challenge, the current education method of the world is shifting towards more efficiency and edutainment. The objective of ICFET is to present the latest research and results of scientists (professors, doctoral students, and post-doc scientists) related to Frontiers of Educational Technologies topics.

Since its inception, the ICFET series has been successfully held in Shanghai (China), Singapore, London (UK), Moscow (Russia), Beijing (China), Tokyo (Japan - Virtual Conference), Bangkok (Thailand - Virtual Conference), Yokohama (Japan - Virtual Conference), Bali (Indonesia), Malacca (Malaysia) and Fuokuka (Japan). Each year, the conference has grown to feature a dynamic program of invited keynote speeches, peer-reviewed paper presentations, academic visits, and cultural programs, offering a platform for academics and professionals to exchange innovative ideas and explore the future directions of educational technology.

The theme of ICFET 2026 will focus on emerging trends in educational technologies, with special emphasis on the integration of artificial intelligence, immersive learning environments, and data-driven approaches to education. We look forward to your participation as we continue to advance the frontiers of education and technology.

The proceedings of ICFET 2018 to ICFET 2024 have been successfully included in the ACM Digital Library, and indexed by Ei Compendex and Scopus around 3-4 months after the conference.

Submission Deadline December 20, 2025
You are requested to submit your paper before or on this date. The earlier you submit your paper, the earlier result you will get.
Notification Deadline January 20, 2026
No matter your paper is accepted or rejected, you will get an official email about the final result on your paper.
Registration Deadline February 10, 2026
Please finish your registration before or on this date. Your registration will only be considered successful upon confirmation by the conference assistant.
Camera Ready June 1, 2026
Each accepted and registered paper should be double confirmed before its publication.
Audience Registration Deadline June 8, 2026
If neither publication nor presentation is your goal, you can register as a listener to attend ICFET.

Submission Guidelines

1. Language

English is the official language of the conference; the paper should be written and presented only in English.

2. Presentation & Publication (Full paper)

Full paper is requested, if you are also considering publishing your paper. Each paper should be with at least 8 pages(one column) or maximum 15 pages.

3. Oral Presentation Only (Abstract)

If you just want to make an oral presentation without paper publication, then you can only submit an abstract.

4. Academic Ethics

Articles submitted to the conference should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is the most essential virtual of any academic. Any act of plagiarism is a totally unacceptable academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.

5. Format

Please follow the instructions of Template when editing your papers.
