Track Abstract

This research track brings together studies at the intersection of innovation, responsible AI adoption, digital/AI competencies, and sustainability in education. It welcomes empirical, design-based, and evaluative work on innovative hybrid/blended learning practices; the development and measurement of students’ digital and AI literacy competencies; and the pedagogical use of generative AI chatbots for learning support, feedback, and assessment.

In line with the 2026 ICFET’s topics of interest, the track also foregrounds the ethical implications of AI in educational contexts and practical strategies to safeguard integrity, privacy, and fairness. In line with National University Laguna’s commitment to quality and sustainable education, this track further invites research on sustainable education practices and the integration of AI within Arts and Sciences degree programs.
